LANGUAGE - FIRST BIMESTER TOPICS AND LINKS FOR PRACTICE

Our Language exam is on Monday, October 22nd., as you all know. It is important that you check and practice what we have learned so far.

1. You need to know the vocabulary words for lessons 1, 2, 3.
1.- bedroom, school, friends, bathroom, clothes, kitchen, principal, building, classroom, teacher.
2.- advice, group, conversation, together, cafeteria, subject, team, playground.
3.- window, rain, frowned, picnic, sandwiches, invite, shout, laugh.

Plurals - You have to know the spelling rules for making plurals. You have all the information here in the blog and you also have exercises.

Abbreviations: months, days, and the ones you have in your notebook. REMEMBER!!! Always start with a Capital letter and end with a dot (.) - Example: Doctor - Dr.

Proper and common nouns. You need to be able to identify nouns and tell if they are common or proper. Here is a link where you can find information and do a quiz for practice:

Listening comprehension ability will be assessed too.

Reading comprehension skills: cause and effect. You need to be able to identify cause and effect. Here is a link with a worksheet for you to practice:

Spelling words: You need how to spell and pronounce the spelling words with long "a" sound.
