FRIDAY WORK FOR HOME

As you won't come to school on Friday, here is the work you have to do at home:

To practice reading in a loud voice and reading comprehension, read the article in the link below. In your Science notebook write 3 things you learned from it:

THANKSGIVING DAY ACTIVITIES

 

Thanksgiving Day is a big family celebration in the United States. Families get together on the fourth Thursday of November each year to Thank the Lord for all blessings received.

PHOTOSYNTHESIS

Did you know that the word Photosynthesis comes from the GreeK? Well, "photo" means "light" and "synthesis" means "putting together". Photosynthesis is an activity that takes place in plants, or a process, by which water and carbon dioxide combine, using energy from the Sun, to form a type of sugar called "glucose" which is a carbohydrate.

SPELLING CHECK

For this activity, you will have to prepare a list of ten words that are difficult for you to spell.

Then, you will get into the link below and copy your words in the section "Spelling Test".

When your test is ready, you will hear each of your words and then a sentence using the word. You have to type the word you hear in the box. When you are ready, get in the next box and do the same.

When you finish, click on check it and get your score. Write it on your paper where you have your list of words.

Don't forget to write your name on the paper.
