You have repeatedly requested that I post the link to the short video which we watched in class and which is the story of a little girl named Maria who lives in an orphange home. One day, a little boy is taken to this place, but unfortunatelly he was unable to speak nor move....
Well, let me tell you this was written by Pedro Solís. Pedro Solís is from Guadalajara, a province in Spain, and he received a "Goya" award for this film. The film is very personal because it is based on the story of Pedro Solís' son, Nicolás.
I think there is a lot to learn from this story: first, how important is love and acceptance for every human being, for every living thing, no matter what his/her condition is. When you are love and accepted, you feel happy and appreciated. In second place, it teaches us to be thankful for all that we have and our responsibility to be better human beings each and every day.
Friendship is such a wonderful treasure and to find a friend who is always willing to help us is the best thing that can happen to us. Finding something we really want to do in life is a real fortune, and doing it with love will help us grow each and every day.

After watching the film, your work is to write a report about it. Investigate what an orphanage home is. Tell who are the characters and what they are like. What happens in the story, what the problem is and how it ends. Finally, write your opinion about it and illustrate your report.
Enjoy your work!
