Did you know that the word Photosynthesis comes from the GreeK? Well, "photo" means "light" and "synthesis" means "putting together". Photosynthesis is an activity that takes place in plants, or a process, by which water and carbon dioxide combine, using energy from the Sun, to form a type of sugar called "glucose" which is a carbohydrate.
